For over 20 years Robert & Abby have been creating for Broadway, brands and big business. As their sons continue to grow, they have been reminded how much they enjoyed creating together as young artists. Black Rocket Studio provides an outlet to bring ideas to things they find important, like capturing the imagination of children to supporting local businesses with strategic and creative guidance. They’re also hoping to save a little for college!

Robert has spent his career creating and directing branding, advertising, interactive and strategy efforts at agencies. He is currently Creative Director at IBM, working with Watson to create cognitive advertising experiences.
His favorite color is red and he loves science fiction. Also, beer.

Abby Redmond
Abby spent the first part of her career focused on her love of theatrical costume design. She has supported creative endeavors from Broadway to Opera across the country, and designed shows from the New York main stage to the high school stage. Recently, she has discovered a passion for helping youth discover their artistic calling through arts education and artistic programs.
Abby loves good design, her family and being outside.
